The very first client of Responsible Rides has completed the key
exchange. Ms. Quandra Bonds of the Roanoke Valley completed the
financial and mechanical courses required for this program and is now
driving off in her new car.

Every year low income families try to buy vehicles, but
are unable to because of debt or credit challenges.
Families dealing with limited income need their dollars to be used
wisely.
Because of this identified need in the community TAP, NRCA, FFCU, FFI
and Enterprise have partnered to develop a car purchase program for low
income families called Responsible Rides.
Cars are selected for reliability, mileage, and affordability from
Enterprise fleet list. Affordable financing available through Freedom
First Credit Union.
